"I personally think the children of our generation are better off learning at home. One reason is that the influence of other children can impact the mind of a child easier than an adult or a teen. Why? You ask. Well because the minds of younger children are just sponges that need to soak in the right things other than swearing, etc. For example, when my younger brother started school for the first time and came home swearing, my parents had to go to the school to speak with the principals. He stayed in that school for only a week until my parents finally pulled him out. That goes to show that children are easier to influence. Another reason is because spending quality time with your family in a home school is important and for sure you don’t really want to let the life and welfare of a child to depend entirely on school teachers, who are unlikely to know even what they want. And besides, how do you know your child is getting the education they need when the teacher is teaching a class of 30 to 40 kids, but the home schooled is being instructed by loving and caring parents, individually. Children will learn twice as much in less time. As for being with friends you can still take time going swimming or to the park and interact in other ways."
